Most glamorous and romantic summer festival "Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2018" will take place in July

The most exciting summer-time musical rendezvous – the glamorous and romantic festival “Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2018” – will take place at Concert Hall Dzintari in Jūrmala on July 19-22. The festival’s novelty this year will be theme nights – the extravagant Opening Night, the Love Night, the Night of the Hits and the grandiose Gala Concert, says the festival’s producer, Elita Mīlgrāve.

The festival’s program is being kept in secret for now but the tradition of an international festival will definitely be preserved, bringing before the audience highly popular artists from many world countries – mostly close friends of Laima Vaikule. The spectators will see not only popular musicians but also music legends, who have won the hearts of the whole world. The artists will perform their hits which have become part of our genetic code over generations and will also surprise the audience with amazing duos and trios, some featuring also new brilliant talents. This will be a true musical rendezvous for the spectators.

Great music, romantic atmosphere, nostalgia, delicate humor and tasteful concert program – this is what Laima and the festival she founded are praised for. As the festival is taking place in Latvia and is well known internationally, Laima has given lots of time to popularization of local artists. Another feature of the festival’s program is the diversity of genres – the audience will be delighted to hear the best songs from classical repertoire to rock.

“Popular musicians, who performed at the festival in previous years include rock music legend Chris Norman, Grigory Leps, outstanding opera singer Hibla Gerzmava, Valery Leontiev, Elena Vaenga, Valery Meladze, Verka Serduchka, charming Lolita, Vakhtang Kikabidze, Nani Bregvadze, Renārs Kaupers, Intars Busulis, Stas Mikhaylov, Maxim Galkin, band Время и Стекло, classical music hooligans DAGAMBA and others. This year, the list of star performers will be even more impressive, and the audiences are in for a lot of surprises,” says Milgrave.

Last year the festival was watched by a TV audience of more than a hundred million people across the world. It was broadcast to more than ten countries. The largest TV channels, radio programs about music and live streaming reach a vast audience indeed. At the same time, spectators at the concert hall enjoy an unforgettable musical experience watched by numerous music lovers throughout the world.
